Trail Use Guidelines
Our neighborhood hiking trails are for public enjoyment thanks to the
foresight and thoughtfulness of private donors and to open space
set-asides from land developers.
Please use these trails with care for our wildlife and for the hikers to
follow. You can help by taking out your own trash or trash left by
others. Clearing the trails of fallen tree branches would also be
appreciated.
Where trails are on conservation easements (which are privately owned),
please stay on the marked trails so as not to intrude on the private
owner’s land.
Trail Regulations
- MOTORIZED VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON TRUST LAND OR TRAILS.
- DOGS ARE ALLOWED ONLY IF HEELED OR ON A LEASH.
- HORSES ARE TO BE RIDDEN ONLY ON THOSE TRAILS SO MARKED ON MAPS OR
SIGNS.
- HUNTING OR TRAPPING ARE NOT ALLOWED ON TRUST LAND OR TRAILS.
Most trails have little or no provision for parking cars at the trail
heads, so please be careful and considerate when finding a safe parking
spot in the area.
If you encounter fallen trees blocking a trail or serious abuse of
trails or adjacent property, please contact Trails Chairman J.B. Gardner
at 393-2778 or Land Management Chairman Ray Andresen at 393-3107.
Hope you enjoy our Land Trust trails.
